Southern Cross Coffee Lounge

We've been dropping into Southern Cross for many years. But this was the best break on this road trip. Pies were in great demand so a fresh lot was eagerly awaited by the locals and us. They were delicious.

Such a friendly Cafe owner who reopened her premises so we could get a coffee, which was great! Hope your hubby won his footy final.

Enjoyed our lunch. Meat pie . 2 Coffees . And a Beesting Cake. Yummo.

This place was awesome. Lady inside was so friendly and great with the kids. Both pumpkin and chicken soups were delicious and toasties were awesome too. Thanks so much!!

A lovely, quiet place to stop for lunch - friendly service and a delicious burger and chips at a very reasonable price. I wanted the steak burger but they apologised that they had a run out steak! Obviously a popular choice - I settled for a beef burger instead, and was more than satisfied with it. Sitting outside under the shady verandah, watching the road trains rumble by on the highway, was a relaxing way to have lunch after a long drive.

Passing through on business. A friend said there is a nice cafe in the main street. In time for breakfast. Eggs Benny and a coffee. The eggs were perfect. The panini was a bit hard to cut. Maybe toast or turkish. Too much holondaise. I also came for lunch and tried their home made pies. You could tell by the weight it was full. Steak n onion was the choice. Didnt disappoint Quick friendly service. Constant flow of customers while I was there. Will I be back. Hell yeah.

We shared a burger with the lot and chips Cutting it for us was no problem. The burger was delicious and the fries were perfect Prices are way more reasonable than the pub

We were passing through as a large motorbike group. The ladies in the shop were so damn friendly and accommodating to our kids! The coffee was beautiful and food even better. Best service we have seen across most of the country!
